Little story

While I was going back to my home, at night time, I heard a noise coming from the ruined house nearby. The night was dark and clowdy, the ruins were a frightening shape against the sky on a very dark road. I was anxiously curious to see where the noise was coming from, so I got closer to the house and stayed ummoving in front of the creaking door of the ruined house. The wind was blowing and pushing me towards the door, making me feel more and more curious, but also very frightened. After a few minutes I enterd the house, which was dark and dirty with strange shadows stretching on the walls. I felt isolated and inhibited by the situation, so I stopped and waited. While I was trying to penetrate the shadows with anxious and nervous eyes I noticed a whitening halo beyond the ruined stairs in the middle of the room. I hesitated before moving towards it, but, when I was trying to step forward, I felt a cracking noise under my foot; I lowered my eyes to check wath it was and, suddenly, when I raised my eyes again, I saw a standing ghost watching me with his still broken bones and in his torn, shabby clothes. Fear and dismoy kept me petrified for a few seconds, then I jumped up screaming and ran away.

I couldn't sleep that night and for a few nights afterwards. Now I can't say if it was a real fact or just a dream...

Molto carino...soprattutto alcune parole contribuiscono a creare quell'alone di oscurità e di paura che se si traducesse alla lettera non renderebbe ^^

Che figo, però leggo l'inglese abbastanza facilmente.
Forse è giunto il momento di lanciarmi nel mio primo romanzo scritto in madrelingua d'Albione!
